Ika ROV (2016)
With a collaboration with University of the Ryukyus Cephalopod Research Laboratory, I produced a squid shaped ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) to be used as a less invasive method in recording the behavior of Sepiotuthis lessoniana in the wild to follow up with a study that we have conducted on their schooling behavior. The project was funded by Saga prefectural grant. A fishing lure manufacture KEYSTONE also contributed to the project. The ROV is currently stored at the prefectural government.
