Pick 8000 tons up (2017)

Social project/performance

Plastic pollution is a serious pollution find in the world oceans today. The Okinawa islands have conducted extensive research on the matter and reported that about 8000 tons of plastic washes up on the beaches of the islands. This project involved picking up and washing plastic trash found around the island beaches to find out about the problem and to bring attention to the ongoing challenges of plastic pollution to the general public.
