Taiyo no Baton (2018)

This photo insulation was co-produced with Reimi Kuba. The photographs record the sun circling around the earth viewed from two different geographical locations, Minnesota and Okinawa. Over 10,000 images were collected by the two artists over the three years using a social network system. The installation offered a comprehensive interaction between the artists using the sun as a vehicle for hared experience.
